Presented in partnership with The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, our local folk series highlights LOCAL emerging artists who are shaping what folk music looks and sounds like right now.

NC based Shana Tucker is a cellist, singer-songwriter, and composer whose double-decade career is defined by her genre-defying artistry and commitment to fostering connection through music.
Known as the creator of "ChamberSoul," a unique blend of jazz, classical, folk, acoustic pop, and soul, Shana has captivated audiences worldwide with her heartfelt performances and storytelling.

Multi-genre vocalist Kay Marion is a lively, high-spirited musician from High Point, NC enjoying a diverse career in vocal performances, theatre, and arts advocacy. Her band, The Neo-Symphony, and her background vocalists, The Velvet Dream, assist Kay Marion in her mission of elevating the neo-soul genre by guiding audiences back to their own divinity.
